Sweet Lake

Situated between orchards and vineyards, the Sweet Lake with campsite has a picturesque setting. Several beach sections invite you to swim around the lake. The Sweet Lake also offers the best conditions for surfing and sailing. There is a small surf school on the north shore that offers courses for beginners and advanced surfers. But there is also plenty to do outside the water: A hike through the nearby vineyards or cycling tours along the lake.
Overnight accommodation is available at the Seeburg campsite, with pitches for caravans and motorhomes, a tent site and wooden sleeping barrels. Every year in July, the "Lake in Flames" event transforms the Sweet Lake into a sea of lights with synchronised musical fireworks. Sweet Lake is also interesting for underwater archaeologists. The discovery of an approximately 3,000-year-old settlement on the bottom of the lake counts as a real sensation.
