Expedition 4 - Old Mining Special

Ancient Mining Special The "Ancient Mining Special" expedition offers a combination of sporting experience, adventure, mining and geology. You can hardly experience the underground world of Mansfeld mining in a more diverse way! Get to know the colourful sintered roadways in the old mine and at the "Green Vault" Afterwards, the tour continues in canoes. A so-called "back mining" in a mountain fault is the destination of the boat trip. Finally, we invite you to a traditional half-shift underground. The expedition comes to an end with a rustic feast of greasy bacon, coffee and schnapps.
Mine helmet, light, waders, knee pads and life jackets are provided.
