Apprentice to Master Spengler - Woodcarving

The local historian Gustav Adolf Spengler was a master carpenter by trade and an enthusiastic woodcarver. In a guided tour of the Spengler House, the children see mammoth furniture, vivid castle models, a useful-beautiful bridal gift, Spengler's oak bed and other carvings. Then they go to the Spengler Museum to have their own experiences with wood and carving knives. At the end, each child can take home his or her own small carving.
