About the artist:

Gregor Doc Davids studied art with Günter H. Blecks (Prof. at the Düsseldorf Art Academy) and discovered his love of glass with Bruno Reganzoni in St. Gallen during his glass art training.
The German sculptor works in his hometown of Mülheim an der Ruhr at M40, the House of Art and Design, and is known for his colour-intensive sculptures made of glass, stone, steel and light, his extravagant wall decorations made of steel and glass, and his internationally exhibited and award-winning murals.
He has participated in art exhibitions and art fairs in New York, Miami, London, Paris, Rome, Venice, Milan, Porto, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Strasbourg and Berlin, among others. He is a guest at Eberbach Monastery for the first time.
The Yukyung Art Museum in Geoje, South Korea, has exhibited his glass relief "Green Manalishi" at "Alchemy of Imagination" until December 2019, after which it will become part of its collection. The transfer was arranged by the New York gallery Artifact, which already held a successful solo exhibition of Davids in Manhattan in 2018.
